About Us
Think of all the great ideas and insights that have come from a conversation over coffee.
We are here to listen, no agendas, pre-formulated stratgies, just talk about what matters most to you and your goals for the future.
Why us?
Savanti because we found that business owners all to often leave themselves vulnerable to losing everything they built.
As entrepreneurs ourselves, we found there was a lack of support for business owners to protecting them from before the triggering event through the sale of the business. That process often resulted in a disjointed and fragmented team, piecemealing together exit strategies without a holistic overarching plan, leaving with stress and money left on the table.
We do what we do because it is our passion.

We don’t like it when you go to an About us page and you don’t learn who that person really is and instead get a stale, templated type biography that could be applied to anyone in the same industry.
So let’s not do that. Here is an insight to truly who we are.

I’ve always been fuelled by challenges. Whether it’s conquering the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, snowshoeing to a remote hut deep in the stunning Rocky Mountains, or diving into new business ventures, the thrill of adventure is woven into my DNA.
As an 11-year-old in the late 1980s I zipped around on bikes, played with Cabbage Patch dolls, and was also busy launching my first business—painting all the neighbours’ fences (who could resist a little red head with a paint brush in her hand?).
In University, my best friend, Christie, and I started a house cleaning business to help us navigate our hectic school schedules along with the need to earn money. That business started with us cleaning family friend’s houses to within a few years having a team of 12 employees and over 120 clients. And that is when the spark within me was truly ignited, and I knew I loved being an entrepreneur.
My Business degree taught me a lot but it missed so much more. My years at the Forzani Group (aka Sport Chek) is really where I learned about business … and how any business, regardless of size, can fumble. On the brink of bankruptcy, I was able to experience first hand how they brought in outside teams to rebrand, re-organize, and created a company of true value.
This stuck with me.
Never one to shy away from taking risks, I ventured into the world of finance, channelling my education and past experiences to work with both business owners and their businesses. I noticed that many advisors focused solely on the owners’ finances, neglecting the business side of the equation. My focus has zeroed in on helping entrepreneurs maximize their business value while protecting their wealth. Every day presents a new challenge, as no two businesses are the same, and finding solutions to their complexities is what makes me eager to go to work each day.
